One of the world's largest, CHIC is a massive trade fair bringing together Chinese and International fashion enterprises to exchange advice and experiences and to seek International partners and cooperation. Those attending the event include managers of markets and shopping malls, manufacturers, dealers, agents, import and export companies and media. Whilst the booths hum with activity there are also the catwalk shows. Well known Chinese fashion design companies showing off their wares include "Ports," "e" and "i.e.nee," and clothing manufacturer Hua Tian. Tian Shan, the cashmere clothing label, and fur and leather specialist, Yuan Long, are touting for business too, with colourful runway shows displaying their latest collections.
