Can AI Replace a Product Photoshoot? I Tested 4 Models

Our clothing brand has never had a photoshoot, so we tested whether AI can do the job. We gave 4 AI image models the same supplier flat of our FORMLESS heavyweight hoodie and the same prompt, across 8 New York and LA streets, then zoomed in on the print. One popular model turned our tiny text into gibberish. Results from this test (1 generation per image, no retouching): • Seedream 5 Pro (OpenArt): 2/2 exact prints, true black, 60 credits/image, ~2 min. WINNER • Krea 3 (Krea): 2/2 prints, but 1 hoodie drifted from black to brown-charcoal, ~107 compute units/image, ~10 s • GPT Image 2, medium (OpenArt): 2/2 prints, but the tiny text was soft, 42 credits/image • Nano Banana 2.1 (OpenArt): 1 gibberish print, 1 print tinted peach, 42 credits/image • Bonus: Kling 3.0 image-to-video. The chest graphic must match the reference exactly: the cream blackletter word "VOID" with thin vertical drip lines through the letters, and the two tiny lines of small text beneath it, at the same size, position and color, not redrawn or restyled.
