What does the circular economy mean to you? How can small changes in the way we live add up to make huge differences for the future of our planet. Recognising the value of the everyday item and making the most of what we have can help us all achieve great strides toward a sustainable future. Lynn Wilson is a circular economy consultant, public speaker and thought leader specialising in the apparel and textiles sector. Trained in fashion and textiles design, Lynn founded Circular Economy Wardrobe in 2017, a non-profit organisation, set up to engage consumers in circular clothing systems. From 2013 to 2017 Lynn was part of the pioneering Circular Economy team at Zero Waste Scotland (ZWS) working with Scotland’s textiles and engineering sectors to develop circular business models. Lynn is a Winston Churchill Memorial Trust fellow (2015) and conducted research in Japan meeting business, academia and public sector organisations implementing circular economy strategies. Currently, Lynn is a PhD candidate at the Adam Smith Business School, Glasgow University funded by the Economic Social Research Council (ESRC) and sponsored by the Ethical Consumer, Closing the Loop: Driving Circularities in Consumer Clothing.
