Collect Selects: Textiles and New Materials, in association with the V&A and RCA

This event brings Dr Christine Checinska, British womenswear designer, art historian and Curator of African and African Diaspora Fashion at the Victoria and Albert Museum together with Anne Toomey, Head of Programme and Reader in Smart Textiles at the Royal College of Art discuss their selection of stand-out objects at this year's Collect Art fair. Christine and Anne introduce the work of new emerging makers as well as established textile artists. This talk was part of the #Collect2021 programme.
