I've been away from YouTube for far too long, so here's a new video showing you how to create these honeycomb darns. Honeycomb darns are great for visibly mending areas of clothing that have worn thin so that you can reinforce them and prevent holes from appearing; plus they look good from both the front and back! This technique and the darning mushroom used in this video can also be found in my new darning kit available via the link below. Thanks to the slow stitch club Patreon group who make these videos possible! ~ Enjoying my videos? ~ Join us on Patreon https://www.patreon.com/c/slowstitchclub The slow stitch club Patreon is made up of: • Mending tutorials released early and ad free • An online monthly mending meet up to chat and stitch with other Patrons • Personalised mending support from me no matter what the project • Personal blog posts and behind the scenes of running a repair business Note: If you’re an Apple user, it’s frustratingly more expensive to sign up to Patreon if you do so via the Patreon app on the Apple app store. To get around this, make sure to join up on your desktop browser rather than the app. Once you have signed up you can then go ahead and use the app as you normally would. If you prefer to learn your mending skills from a book, I’ve written one! It’s called Well Worn and you can order it via my website https://slowstitch.club/pages/well-worn or through all good independent bookshops. Please avoid buying from Jeff if you can. And if joining another platform isn’t for you but you want to thank me for the videos I’ve shared, you can buy me a cup of tea https://buymeacoffee.com/slowstitchclub (thank you!). If you’re more of a words person then you can sign up to my newsletter - and by doing so you’ll also get access to a free mini PDF guide all about darning microweaves https://slowstitch.club/ You can also follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/slowstitchclub/ and my inbox is always open if you want to contact m
