So I made this video to show the full process and the two ways I normally use: an alignment frame, and lining it up by eye. The second method is demonstrated by my cousin, who doesn’t normally use this press, just to show that it really doesn’t take much experience once you get a feel for it. The pressure shown in the video is only a reference from my own setup. Leather thickness, moisture, and different presses can all affect the result, so I recommend testing on scrap first.
