#SayNoToFastFashion: Starting this Black Friday, we are banning fast fashion brands

Do you know what fashion's biggest challenge is? Fashion waste. We throw so much of fashion items away - but there's no such place as away! Starting today, Vestiaire Collective is banning fast fashion from being bought, sold or listed on the platform. We say no to a system that supports overconsumption, poor quality and over production. Why ban fast fashion? Because fast fashion has no value, even in the resale industry. We’ve taken this step because we don’t want to be complicit in an industry which has a tremendous environmental and social impact. Today's move reinforces Vestiaire Collective's founding mission to drive change from within the fashion industry. We aim, over the next 3 years, to become a fast fashion-free platform that celebrates quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. This is because it takes time to do it right. We want to advocate for a better way of consuming fashion and offer alternatives to fast fashion. #Long Live Fashion
