Who really rules the world? From the Sumerian King List, whose very first line declares that "kingship descended from heaven," to the words "In God We Trust" printed on the dollar bill, almost every power on Earth has claimed to receive its authority from above — and today, out in the open, that oldest claim is making its move again. This video follows a single idea across five thousand years: that the State and religion were never truly separate. The oldest writing ever pulled out of the ground, the proto-cuneiform tablets of Uruk, is not a hymn or a law but a ledger — grain and beer counted out by a temple. From there, the same sentence repeats itself in clay and stone: the Code of Ur-Nammu, the Code of Hammurabi, where Anu and Enlil hand the rule of mankind to Marduk, and the Cyrus Cylinder, which is not the first charter of human rights it is often called, but a king having a god certify his crown. We trace "the powers that be" back to Romans 13 and William Tyndale's 1526 translation, look at the Greek theós behind it, and follow the divine right of kings from the Roman pontifex maximus to James VI and I and Bossuet at the court of Louis XIV. We look at the theology hidden inside money — credit, fiat, Carl Schmitt's Political Theology and a global public debt the IMF places above 100 trillion dollars — and at the room in France, in 1789, where the words "left" and "right" were born in an argument over the king's veto. And then the present: the 2025 Pew Research Center study on religious nationalism across 36 countries, Hungary's constitution, the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, the Ten Commandments in Louisiana classrooms, and the UAP disclosure debate — the AARO report, David Grusch's testimony before Congress, the UAP Disclosure Act and the 1953 Robertson Panel. Disclosure could bring the old throne down, or crown it once again. This video does not pick a side in left and right; it asks what stands above both. 00:00 - "I Am the Senate": Who Really Rules the World?
