Walk Pattern Pieces on All Sizes | CAD Pattern Making Tutorial | TUKAtip - TUKAdesign (2013)

This video shows how to use the Walk tool to walk a pattern piece on all sizes in a graded pattern. Pattern makers typically work on only one base size when drafting a fashion pattern. However, after grading the pattern for a full size range, there might be discrepancies with how the pieces all fit together, particularly in the largest and smallest sizes. Walking pattern pieces shows how the pieces will fit together when sewn, and in the TUKAcad software for CAD pattern making and grading this can be done for all graded sizes. NOTE: This lesson was recorded in a legacy version of the TUKAcad software suite for pattern making, grading, and marker making. Some aspects of the interface may be a little different, however we believe the knowledge shared here is valuable for every pattern maker.
